The unexpected partnership occurred at the 2025 iHeart Country Summit in Nashville.

At the 2025 iHeart Country Summit in Nashville, Carly Pearce surprised the crowd by joining Riley Green on stage for an acoustic performance of his track “Don’t Mind If I Do.”
In front of an audience made up of radio professionals and industry members, Green performed a selection of his popular hits, including “Worst Way” and the title track from his latest project, “Don’t Mind If I Do.” Originally recorded as a duet with Ella Langley, Green decided to bring a female artist on stage to authentically convey the song’s message. While Langley couldn’t attend, Carly Pearce graciously stepped in to fill the role.
Riley Green, dressed in his signature boots, blue jeans, button-down shirt, and cowboy hat, took the lead as he strummed his guitar, showcasing his raw vocals. He smoothly delivered the opening lines of the emotional ballad before Carly Pearce joined in, her strong voice blending effortlessly with his for the duet.

Green encouraged the audience to show some appreciation for his guest before Pearce took on Langley’s part. The room was filled with intense emotion as the two country stars brought to life the story of a couple struggling to let go.
During the powerful chorus, they sang:
“And I don’t mind if I do/ Drink up the nerve and show up at your house/ If you wanna know the truth, it’s killin’ me not holdin’ you right now/ I’m one memory away from fallin’ all the way apart/ ‘Cause I might still love you/ And I hope you don’t mind if I do.”
After their heartfelt performance, the singers shared a hug before Pearce left the stage, allowing Green to continue with his set.
