Miranda Lambert is marking a meaningful moment with her husband, Brendan McLoughlin!
On Sunday, January 26, the 41-year-old singer shared a heartfelt post on Instagram to celebrate their 6th wedding anniversary.
In the post, Lambert included a black-and-white throwback photo from their wedding day, showing her and McLoughlin, 33, sharing a kiss as she wore a gown while perched on a horse. She also added a more recent selfie of the couple smiling together.
“6 years💍🩵. I’ll love you forever @brendanjmcloughlin,” she wrote in the caption.
Lambert and McLoughlin first met in 2018 on the set of Good Morning America, where McLoughlin, then an NYPD officer, was working security for the show.
The couple quickly developed a connection, and just under three months after meeting, they got married in Nashville on January 26, 2019.
Since then, McLoughlin has retired from the police force, and the couple now divides their time between their farm in Tennessee and New York, where McLoughlin’s young son, Landon, from a previous relationship, lives.
In October 2024, Lambert posted a series of photos on Instagram to celebrate her husband’s 33rd birthday.
“Happy Birthday to my best friend, travel companion, home cook, pasta maker, animal lover, up-for-anything guy, the warmest and kindest city boy turned country! Brendan, you light up every room you enter. I’m so fortunate to see your smile every day, forever. Thanks for being you. 🩵🤠 33 looks great on you!” Lambert wrote.
In May of the same year, the “Wranglers” singer spoke to PEOPLE about the key rule that keeps her and McLoughlin’s marriage strong.
She shared, “It’s communication. We just talk it out, whatever it is, we talk about everything. And I think communication is really important, especially because women expect men to know what we’re thinking, but they don’t. We have to tell them.”
