Miranda Lambert is showering her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, with love on his special day.
On Tuesday, Oct. 14, the “Bluebird” singer celebrated McLoughlin’s 34th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post, giving fans a glimpse into their fun-filled life together.
Lambert, 41, kicked things off with a photo of her shirtless husband enjoying a boat day, followed by snapshots of him sipping wine, cooking in an apron, and holding an order of Whataburger. The post also included several videos — including one where McLoughlin jokingly says, “I’m proud to be a Texan today. No, I’m proud to be married to a Texan today… because it’s snowing in New York.”
“Happy birthday to my city gone country and honorary Texan husband @brendanjmcloughlin,” Lambert captioned the post. “Lover of the sun, his family, friends, the kitchen, pasta, hot dogs, travel, animals and all things fun. You are the best. 34 looks good on you! I love you. 🩵☀️”
The country star often gives fans glimpses into her life with McLoughlin. Back in June, she shared a series of “summer lovin’” photos of the pair, and earlier this year, they marked their sixth wedding anniversary with a black-and-white throwback from their 2019 nuptials.
Lambert and McLoughlin first met in 2018 on the set of Good Morning America, where he was working as an NYPD officer providing security. The two quickly hit it off and tied the knot less than three months later, on Jan. 26, 2019.
In a May 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Lambert opened up about the secret to their strong relationship: “It’s communication. We just talk it out — whatever it is, we talk about everything. Women expect men to know what we’re thinking, but they don’t. We have to tell them.”
Lambert has also been candid about embracing happiness in her marriage. “I want to be open about how happy we are,” she told PEOPLE in 2022. “I just don’t give two s—s about people’s opinions of me, my marriage, my music, or anything else. I just care that I’m being me.”
