The 59th Annual CMA Awards Promise an Unforgettable Night
The Country Music Association has unveiled the first round of performers for the 59th Annual CMA Awards, and the lineup is already packed with country music heavyweights.
Set for Wednesday, November 19, at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena, the show will feature performances from BigXthaPlug, Luke Combs, Ella Langley, and Megan Moroney. Also taking the stage are Shaboozey, Zach Top, Tucker Wetmore, Lainey Wilson, and Stephen Wilson Jr.
Returning to host for a second year, Lainey Wilson will once again lead the celebration. She previously co-hosted the 2024 ceremony alongside Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning.
“I grew up watching the CMA Awards like they were the Super Bowl, so getting to host again is truly special,” Wilson, 33, shared in a statement. “I’m so grateful that the CMA trusts me with this role, and I can’t wait to celebrate the genre that has given me everything.”
Wilson’s connection to the night goes beyond hosting duties — she’s also one of this year’s top nominees. She, Ella Langley (26), and Megan Moroney (28) each earned six nominations, leading the pack. Zach Top (28) follows closely with five, while Riley Green and Cody Johnson picked up four apiece.
Meanwhile, Morgan Wallen, Chris Stapleton, Luke Combs, Charlie Handsome, Carson Chamberlain, and Kristian Bush each landed three nominations.
Wilson, last year’s Entertainer of the Year winner, is once again up for the top honor, competing against Combs, Johnson, Stapleton, and Wallen.
Fans can expect more performers and presenters to be revealed soon. The 2025 CMA Awards will air live on ABC from 8–11 p.m. ET, with streaming available the following day on Hulu.
