Lainey Wilson is spreading extra holiday spirit this year with a new animated video for her take on “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!,” featuring a special collaboration with the legendary Bing Crosby, who originally popularized the classic in the 1940s. Produced in partnership with Hershey’s, the video brings the festive tune to life with charming animated renditions of the performers.
The video opens with Wilson holding a glittering snow globe, inviting viewers into a cozy winter scene. Inside, an animated version of the singer, complete with her signature bell bottoms and cowboy hat, stirs a mug of “Mama’s Cocoa” in her rustic cabin as snowflakes drift gently outside.
True to Lainey Wilson’s playful style, the animated video blends holiday cheer with a touch of humor. When a blown fuse sends her braving the cold to check the breaker, she accidentally gives herself a little shock. Her attempt to light a fire also goes awry, thanks to a mischievous pair of animated mice neighbors. Just as she settles in with her hot cocoa, a flurry of unexpected visitors arrives at the door — including a mailman, Bing Crosby holding mistletoe, and her beloved dog Hippie, who bursts in with a duck friend, nodding to her fiancé, Devlin “Duck” Hodges.
Amid all the commotion, Wilson spills the last of her cocoa and abandons the mug entirely, opting instead to pour milk and Hershey’s chocolate sauce straight into her mouth from the fridge. Throughout the playful chaos, her vocals float over the scene, bringing warmth, festive energy, and her signature Louisiana charm.
The whimsical video captures both the spirit of the holiday classic and Lainey Wilson’s playful personality. Her rendition of “Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!” appears on Wilson’s new EP, Peace, Love, & Cowboys (Holiday Edition), which also features the title track along with instrumental versions of both songs. The EP is now available on 12-inch vinyl, 7-inch vinyl, and CD.
Wilson will perform at the Grand Ole Opry on Wednesday, December 10, for a special Christmas show, rounding out what has been a milestone year for the country star. She recently celebrated her ninth #1 country radio hit with “Somewhere Over Laredo,” which also topped the charts in the U.K. and Canada. The single, included on the deluxe edition of her award-winning album Whirlwind, is nominated for Best Country Song and Best Country Solo Performance at the 68th Annual Grammy Awards.
