Kelsea Ballerini’s tour came to a close with an unexpected slip.
The country star concluded her North American tour on April 13 at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, where she took a fall from a moving stage platform while performing Garth Brooks’ classic “Friends in Low Places” as a shoutout to her team.
A clip shared by Entertainment Tonight shows the moment the tour crew joined her on stage to celebrate the end of a successful run, as Ballerini sang the 1990 country anthem.
The Grammy-nominated singer gathered on one part of the stage with several members of her crew, continuing to sing and dance around the area. Unbeknownst to her, the section she stepped onto was a platform that began to rise mid-performance — leading to her fall as she moved away from it.
Still, Ballerini bounced back without missing a beat. She quickly resumed singing, struck a playful pose, and laughed it off with her usual charm.
Her 2025 tour, Cowboys Cry Too, kicked off on January 21 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and featured arena stops in major cities including Chicago, Nashville, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Diego, Las Vegas, and more — all leading up to the grand finale in Toronto on April 13.
The tour served as the live launch for Ballerini’s latest album, Patterns, which dropped in October 2024. Just last month, she released a deluxe edition of the album, featuring five brand-new tracks.
“It’s always been a dream of mine to headline an arena tour,” Ballerini shared in a recent cover interview with PEOPLE.
She added, “Traditionally, not many women in country music have made that leap to arenas. I knew I had to do it right — not just for me, but to help pave the way and be part of the legacy of women in country.”
