After her performance, Kane said to her, “You know what? It’s time for bed.”
Fans at Kane Brown’s concert in Albany, New York, on Thursday night got a glimpse of a future star when his 5-year-old daughter, Kingsley Rose, joined him on stage to perform for the audience.
Accompanied by his wife, Katelyn, the country singer invited young Kingsley to join in singing the chorus of their hit song, “Thank God.”
From the stage, Kingsley greeted the crowd with a sweet, “Hi.”
Brown shared, “She wouldn’t let me leave the bus… she was so eager to sing.”
As the audience collectively responded with “aww,” Brown asked Kingsley, “Do you want to sing with mommy?”
Katelyn then crouched down to Kingsley’s height and started singing, “So Thank God…”
Seamlessly, Kingsley jumped in and finished the chorus.
The audience burst into applause, showing that musical talent clearly runs in the Brown family.
Social media was filled with fans praising Kingsley in videos of the performance.
One commenter remarked, “Wow, she’s a natural—just like her parents,” while another added, “She was so courageous.”
Other fans also applauded the audience for falling silent, giving the young girl a chance to be heard.
“One TikTok user highlighted, ‘It’s amazing how respectful the crowd was, quieting down so she could sing.’”
As the cheers and applause faded, Kane smiled at his daughter and said, “Guess what? It’s bedtime!”
The crowd laughed, Kingsley waved goodbye, and then she headed backstage to the bus with her mom.
This touching moment happened during Kane Brown’s headlining The High Road Tour, a production specially designed for him, featuring performances of his biggest hits on an impressive stage.
“We’ve created something unique for this tour that only I have—no other artist will have it on their stage, which is pretty cool,” Kane shared with Katie Neal in Audacy’s Sound Space studio. “During our last tour, I focused so much on keeping energy up that I didn’t want anyone leaving for a beer or bathroom break. It was just non-stop energy.”
Although this tour still includes energetic moments, Kane is also dialing things back to connect more personally with his fans.
“We’re going to ride a roller coaster of hype songs, then switch to a campfire-style setting where I talk about the songs and get really personal and close—something I used to do when I first started out. We want to bring that back and maybe even bring some tears to the show,” he explained earlier.
