“I’m incredibly grateful that I get to live my dreams every day with the love of my life,” Firerose expressed.

Billy Ray Cyrus and his fiancée Firerose made a special appearance on Good Morning America to showcase their new single, “Plans,” and to express their deep affection for each other.

Firerose, the Australian songstress at 34, wore an all-red outfit adorned with fringe and sequins as she passionately sang the heartfelt song alongside her duet partner. The performance included Cyrus’ whispered baritone vocals and the strumming of his guitar. It also featured several members of the New York Youth Symphony, along with “Plans” producer Justin Morgan on guitar.

The chorus of the song goes, “Have you got plans for forever / Do you have ’til the end of time free / Have you got plans for forever / Do you wanna make them with me / ‘Cuz I swear there’s nothing else I’d rather do / Than plan the rest of my life with you,” which they delivered with heartfelt emotion.

After their impressive performance, Firerose expressed her immense gratitude for the opportunity to record the song, which was solely penned by the highly acclaimed two-time Golden Globe winner and 14-time Oscar-nominated songwriter, Diane Warren.

Firerose shared the backstory, saying, “Diane actually DM’d me and said, ‘Would you like to do a song?’ and I’m like…’yeah, I would love nothing more.'” She went on to praise Diane Warren as a tremendous inspiration for her own songwriting journey, describing it as a dream come true. Firerose felt that when Diane sent her the song “Plans,” it was meant to be.
