Kane Brown Joins 9-1-1: Nashville for Premiere Episode
The upcoming 9-1-1: Nashville series is wasting no time securing star power for its debut — country hitmaker Kane Brown will guest star in the premiere episode when the show launches on ABC on Thursday, Oct. 9.
Details about Brown’s role are being kept under wraps, but a press release hints that his character will play a heroic part in one of the episode’s major storylines. The 31-year-old filmed his scenes in Nashville on Thursday, Aug. 7.
In a clip posted to his Instagram Stories, Brown could be heard — though not clearly seen — as he walked outside in the dark, teasing fans about his appearance. “What’s up, guys? I’ve got a little TV shoot this morning,” he said. “I can’t tell y’all what I’m doing, but it’s gonna be sick, and I’m excited!” He also shared that he was up at 3:45 a.m. to squeeze in a workout before his 6:45 a.m. call time.
This won’t be Brown’s first time on TV. Beyond live performances and interviews, he’s appeared as a mentor on American Idol and The Voice, and made his acting debut in 2023 during season one of Fire Country. He’s also hosted the CMT Awards three times.
The 9-1-1: Nashville cast features some big names, including actress Kimberly Williams-Paisley — best known for Father of the Bride and married to country star Brad Paisley — and music legend LeAnn Rimes. Also starring are Chris O’Donnell (Batman Forever, NCIS: Los Angeles), Jessica Capshaw (Grey’s Anatomy, The Practice), Hailey Kilgore, Michael Provost, Juani Feliz, and Hunter McVey.
The new series is described as a “high-octane procedural” following the lives of first responders, intertwined with a family saga of power and glamour, all set against the vibrant backdrop of Nashville.
