Gabby Barrett and her husband, Cade Foehner, welcomed their first child, daughter Baylah May, in January 2021, and their second child, son Augustine Boone, arrived about 21 months later.

Out of concern for their children’s privacy, the couple has been cautious about sharing photos or videos showing their faces. However, Barrett’s latest song, “Glory Days,” which she co-wrote with James McNair, Emily Weisband, and Seth Mosley, and co-produced with Ross Copperman, holds such personal significance to her that she decided to include her family in the music video.

“These moments you see in the video are truly my ‘Glory Days’ at the moment,” Barrett shared. “Whether it’s sitting on the porch and reading the Bible with my husband or gently rocking my baby to sleep, this video beautifully brings the lyrics to life.”

The music video is filled with intimate moments capturing their family time, and Gabby Barrett expressed how those scenes created cherished memories for her.

“Filming with our kids for the first time is an unforgettable experience,” she shared. “We had an absolute blast during the water balloon fight, ending up completely soaked by the end of the shoot. We couldn’t stop laughing throughout the entire process.”

Barrett hopes that the video serves as a reminder for people to live in the present and appreciate the moments they have right now. She wants viewers to be grateful for what they have instead of constantly focusing on the future.

Upon watching the video for the first time, the former “American Idol” contestant couldn’t contain her joy. “Seeing my precious family in this video just warms my heart,” she expressed. “I feel incredibly blessed.”

“Glory Days” marks the debut single from Barrett’s highly anticipated second album, following the success of her breakthrough hits like “I Hope,” “The Good Ones,” and “Pick Me Up.”

Currently, the mother of two is on tour alongside Kane Brown, adding further excitement to her musical journey.
