Pearce delivered a heartfelt performance, expressing her profound connection to country music and the life experiences it has guided her through.

Carly Pearce made a comeback to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on the evening of October 4th with an enchanting performance of her song, “Country Music Made Me Do It.”
Dressed in a leopard print skirt and a black lace top, Pearce illuminated the Tonight Show stage with her passionate rendition. Her performance celebrated her love for country music and its connection to the various ups and downs in her life.
“Country music made me do it / It got me tipsy, helped me get through it / A little heartache, 80-proof / Through three chords and the honest truth / From a small town to a ballroom’s light / Lifting me up every time I took a fall / Every choice, every high, every low, every flight / Oh, country music made me do it, and I’ll keep answering its call,” sang the Grammy Award-winning artist, accompanied by her touring band.
Co-written by Pearce along with her frequent collaborators Shane McAnally and Josh Osborne, “Country Music Made Me Do It” was released in August and serves as an autobiographical anthem for the accomplished singer-songwriter.
