The country music stars are humorously demonstrating how they take care of their natural hair.
Carly Pearce and Kelsea Ballerini share more in common than just being successful country singers in their 30s!
On Friday, May 2, Pearce, 35, posted a video of herself all glammed up — but with an unexpected twist at the end.
The video started with Pearce sitting in a bathroom, her hair and makeup flawlessly done, before cutting to a brief clip originally posted by Ballerini, 31, as she took off her wig.
The video opens with a brief play of “This Is the Life” from Miley Cyrus’ Hannah Montana series, following Ballerini’s comparison to the actress in a TikTok posted on April 17.
“My sweet friend Kelsea posted this two-minute video where she expertly, professionally, and gracefully removes her wig,” Pearce shared on Instagram.
The “We Don’t Fight Anymore” singer went on, “And I feel called out.”
Pearce humorously continued, “I clearly must be doing it wrong because this is how long it takes me to take my wig off,” before swiftly lifting her blonde hair and pulling the wig off in one motion, tossing it aside.
After the quick removal, which revealed no wig cap and a much shorter haircut, Pearce paused with a comical blank stare before reaching for her phone to stop the camera.
“You can take the girl out of Kentucky, but you can’t take Kentucky out of the girl 😂,” Pearce wrote in the post, tagging Ballerini. In the comments, she also revealed her wig’s name: “Coco.”
Fans were amused, with one commenting, “WAIT A DAMN MINUTE,” while another added, “[Work] smarter, not harder!!! Love it!”
The video also caught the attention of fellow stars like Lauren Alaina, who commented, “I just laughed out loud,” and Ballerini, who responded, “HAHAHAHAH I LOVE YOU.”
