Post Malone Surprises Single Mom Working at Houston Bar with $20,000 Tip: ‘He Changed My Life’

Post Malone is embracing a generous phase in his life.
On Christmas Eve, the 29-year-old “Rockstar” singer made bartender Renee Brown’s night at The Railyard in Houston by giving her a $20,000 tip, as she shared in a recent interview with Music Mayhem.
Brown, a single mother, was feeling down about being away from her nine-year-old daughter on the holiday, unaware that something extraordinary was about to happen.
She recalled, “I was so sad going into work on Christmas Eve because I had to leave my baby girl. Little did I know, God had a Christmas miracle in store for me. This is by far the most humble and personable celebrity I’ve ever met. He changed my life on Christmas f—ing Eve, and I’ll be forever grateful. Thank you so much, Austin,” she said, referring to Malone by his real name, Austin Richard Post.
Brown also explained how she plans to use the generous tip from the “Sunflower” singer, who hails from Grapevine, Texas.
“This has really helped me get in a better position to cover transportation costs for work, catch up on rent, and save a little. I’m working on saving up to start a business, so I don’t have to keep juggling two jobs and can spend more time with my daughter,” she shared.
“Things have been really tough, and this was such a blessing that words can’t fully express,” Brown added. “The visit itself was incredible and something I’ll cherish and talk about for the rest of my life.”
Malone’s generous gesture took place just a day before his surprise appearance during Beyoncé’s unforgettable Christmas Day halftime performance at the Texans-Ravens game at NRG Stadium. The duo performed their popular collaboration, “LEVII’S JEANS.”
He took to X to express his gratitude, writing, “Thank you @Beyonce so much for having me out in Houston, and for being part of your beautiful record. Also, thank you for sharing your talent and art with the world. I love you.”
This summer, Malone — who dropped his debut country album F-1 Trillion in August — will hit the road for The Big Ass Stadium Tour alongside his “Losers” collaborator Jelly Roll.
Following its release, F-1 Trillion topped the Billboard 200 albums chart and earned platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in December.
At the upcoming Grammy Awards, the “Chemical” singer has received seven nominations, including Best Country Album and Best Recording Package for F-1 Trillion, as well as Best Country Song and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “I Had Some Help” with Morgan Wallen.
