NEXT UP NOW: DEE WHITE RETURNS TO THE SPOTLIGHT WITH “WAGON GIRL”

One year into his tenure as a student at Auburn University, Dee White left scholastics and moved to Nashville to pursue a career in country music. Initially, the gamble paid off. White had signed a record deal with Easy Eye Sound/Warner Music Nashville and got to work on his 2018 debut, “Southern Gentleman.” He chased a vibey, vintage sound, but his career fell prey to the pandemic. He lost his record deal, his tour dates were canceled, and he was forced to move home to Alabama.

Now he’s pressing the restart button with his new song and video, “Wagon Girl,” which also leans into the vintage vibe – although not quite as hard as his earlier work.
