Miranda Lambert and Brendan McLoughlin are celebrating seven years of marriage!
The country star, 42, and her husband, 34, secretly tied the knot on January 26, 2019, at a private farm just outside Nashville, Tennessee. To mark their seventh anniversary on Monday, Jan. 26, the couple shared a series of photos on Instagram, highlighting special moments from their relationship.
“Cheers to 7 years @brendanjmcloughlin 💍🩵🐴🐶,” Lambert captioned the post.
The carousel included eight photos showing everything from wine dates and horseback rides to halibut fishing, with the couple smiling and cozying up in each snapshot—proof that their love has only deepened over time.
Lambert and McLoughlin first met in November 2018 on the set of Good Morning America. At the time, McLoughlin was working as an NYPD officer providing security for the show, where Lambert performed with her band, the Pistol Annies. The couple quickly connected and tied the knot less than three months later. Lambert made their marriage public in February 2019.
In a May 2024 interview with PEOPLE, Lambert shared the key to their lasting marriage.
“It’s communication. We just talk it out—whatever it is, we discuss everything,” she said. “Communication is really important, especially because women expect men to know what we’re thinking, and they don’t. You just have to tell them.”
The couple often share glimpses of their life together on social media. For McLoughlin’s 34th birthday in October, Lambert called him “the best” on Instagram. He returned the love the following month for Lambert’s 42nd birthday, describing her as “the most loving, talented, and caring person” he’s ever met.
In 2022, Lambert told PEOPLE that she isn’t afraid to be open about her relationship.
“I want to show how happy we are. I don’t care about people’s opinions of me, my marriage, my music, or anything else. I just care about being me,” she said. “It’s wonderful to have a partner who supports you, loves you, and believes in you. He loves me for me. That’s an amazing thing to have in my life.”
