“Megan Moroney Shines at CMA Awards with Performance of ‘6 Months Later’”

Megan Moroney brought her hit “6 Months Later” to life on the CMA Awards stage Wednesday night.
Set against a pink, bedroom-inspired backdrop, Moroney opened the performance wearing a pink robe, which she later removed to reveal a sparkling pink mini dress as she danced across the stage.
Ahead of the awards, she teased that her performance would pay homage to the colorful and playful music video for the song, which debuted over the summer.
“You can expect a slumber party vibe. We’re doing a nod to the music video,” Moroney said, adding fans should anticipate “a whole lot of pink,” a reference to her upcoming album, Cloud 9. “It’s going to be a girl’s night within the CMA Awards,” she added.
On nomination day, Moroney tied for the most nods alongside Ella Langley and Lainey Wilson, receiving six nominations in total. She was recognized for Single of the Year (“Am I Okay?”), Album of the Year (Am I Okay?), Song of the Year (“Am I Okay?”), Female Vocalist of the Year, Musical Event of the Year (“You Had To Be There”), and Music Video of the Year (“Am I Okay?”).
The 59th Annual CMA Awards, hosted by Lainey Wilson, aired live from Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena on Wednesday, Nov. 19 (8–11 PM ET) on ABC.
