Luke Bryan has revealed his upcoming album, Mind of a Country Boy, describing it as a project that “has a little bit of everything.”

“I’ve had the opportunity to take my time and carefully select songs for this album,” said the country star, who is currently touring with the Mind of a Country Boy Tour.

New music is on the way from Luke Bryan!

The 48-year-old country star announced his eighth album, Mind of a Country Boy, on August 8, revealing its cover art and tracklist along with his new single, “Closing Time in California.”

Bryan commented, “I’ve had the chance to take my time and carefully select songs for this album. If a song I recorded two or three years ago still resonates with me and feels current, I believe it will stand the test of time.”

Mind of a Country Boy will be Luke Bryan’s first full-length album since 2020’s Born Here Live Here Die Here. This new project promises to blend the familiar Bryan sound with some surprising elements.

Bryan explained, “As with all my albums, this one offers a little bit of everything. I’ve explored new vocal approaches that I haven’t tried before.”

He added, “Each song is crafted to have its own place and significance. I strive to avoid being repetitive, which I believe has contributed to my long career. I’m hopeful this album will continue that trend.”

Before the release of “Closing Time in California,” Luke Bryan had already dropped three singles from Mind of a Country Boy: “Country On,” “But I Got a Beer in My Hand,” and “Love You, Miss You, Mean It.”

Bryan is currently on his Mind of a Country Boy Tour, which will run through September 14 in Tampa, Florida. Following that, he’ll embark on his Farm Tour from September 19 to September 28, and later, he’ll host his 10th annual Crash My Playa festival in Cancún, Mexico, from January 15-18.

Bryan shared, “I’m still having a lot of fun with my concerts, and they’re still a big celebration. As I get older and mature, the themes I explore in my music evolve. However, my passion for finding songs that move people remains a key focus of my artistry.”

Mind of a Country Boy is set to be released on September 27.
