Lainey Wilson Honored With Patsy Montana Entertainer Award From The Cowgirl Hall Of Fame

Previous recipients of the award include Emmylou Harris and Faith Hill.

Lainey Wilson was among one of five Inductees and three award winners to be celebrated during the 47th Annual Cowgirl Hall of Fame Induction Luncheon and Ceremony that took place Tuesday, November 14 at Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.

During the coveted ceremony sponsored by the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo, Wilson received the Patsy Montana Entertainer Award, an accolade that was named after 1987 Honoree Patsy Montana. This honor has since been given out to females who work in the entertainment industry and have acted as strong representatives for the traditions of the cowgirl in the fields of film, television, music, writing, and theatre. 

Wilson has achieved this mission through her acting role on the popular TV show, Yellowstone, her dedication to bringing country music to stages across the world, and releasing music that fits perfectly into the cowgirl mantra that she lives each day.  

Previous award winners include Emmylou Harris (1996), Jessie the Cowgirl from Toy Story 2 (2000), Callie Khouri (2016), Christina Voros (2021), and Faith Hill (2022).

Following the event, Lainey Wilson shared a few words of gratitude with her fanbase in a social media post that showcased highlights of the night through a carousel of photos.
