Lainey Wilson and Zach Williams Unite for a Spirited Performance of ‘Go Tell It On A Mountain’

The pair of artists joined a star-studded lineup of performers during ‘CMA Country Christmas.’
Lainey Wilson teamed up with Zach Williams for an energized performance of the spiritual song, “Go Tell It On A Mountain,” during the 14th annual CMA Country Christmas.
This classic Christmas tune was made famous by John Wesley Work Jr. and likely dates back to the mid-19th century. Throughout all these years, countless artists have recorded their renditions of the tune, giving it a new life each year. In front of the live audience, Williams and Wilson took their shot at the song by rejuvenating the religious lyrics with an up-tempo delivery on the stage of Belmont University’s Fisher Center for the Performing Arts in Nashville, TN.
Donning a brown, suede jacket decked out in fringe, Williams sang the opening verse with his signature grit and Christian-rock sound before Wilson made her way to the stage wearing a Christmas plaid jumpsuit. The artists took turns on the remaining verses and came together in a string of spiritual harmonies on the chorus.
