Kelsea Ballerini Shocks Fans With the Release of ‘PATTERNS (DELUXE)’ Album

Ballerini premiered one of the new songs live for the first time during her recent Texas show.
Kelsea Ballerini wasn’t quite finished sharing her emotional journey through autobiographical songs about love, friendship, and healing from her 2024 album PATTERNS. With more stories to tell, the country star has revealed that a deluxe edition of the album will be released on Friday, March 7, 2025, through Black River Entertainment.
Ballerini’s fans were the first to hear the exciting news when she announced it during her February 26 show in Fort Worth, Texas, as part of her headlining tour. In her latest Instagram video, the country star is seen ending her concert with the emotional sing-along anthem “Penthouse.” However, instead of leaving the stage, the lights come back up, revealing her still at the mic. She then shares the surprise she’s been keeping under wraps.
“This is usually where the night would end, but I think now is the perfect time to tell you that PATTERNS (DELUXE) drops on March 7,” Ballerini announced to a crowd of cheering fans. “It includes five new songs that we’ve been working on over the holidays and backstage during this tour. One of them, ‘To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak,’ I played for you earlier—but my favorite is the one we’re about to perform right now.”
As the five-time GRAMMY® Award nominee revealed, the deluxe edition expands the album to 20 tracks. Fans will finally get to hear the previously released digital bonus track, To The Men That Love Women After Heartbreak, along with four fresh additions: Put It To Bed, Cut Me Up, Hindsight Is Happiness, and Future Tripping, which she debuted live on stage last night.
It’s easy to see why this catchy, toe-tapping track is one of Ballerini’s personal favorites. Driven by a strong beat, the song explores the anxiety that comes with an uncertain future and her longing for clarity about what lies ahead.
“I don’t want to impose / Some things we’re not supposed to know yet / But my head won’t stop,” Ballerini sings.
The original version of the autobiographical album, co-written exclusively with female songwriters, debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart and marked Ballerini’s first album to claim the top spot on the Billboard Country Albums chart.
This announcement adds to an already eventful 2025 for the East Tennessee native. She’s currently selling out arenas across the country on her KELSEA BALLERINI LIVE ON TOUR 2025 and is also making her debut as a Coach on Season 27 of NBC’s The Voice.
