Jelly Roll Set for Grand Ole Opry Induction on March 10

Lainey Wilson will be on hand to officially induct him into the Opry.
It’s official: Jelly Roll will be inducted as a member of the Grand Ole Opry on Tuesday, March 10. His friend and duet partner, Opry member Lainey Wilson, will perform the honor of welcoming him into the Opry family.
The celebration will feature performances from his mentor and fellow Opry member Craig Morgan, as well as artists like Leanne Morgan, ERNEST, and others, highlighting both Jelly Roll’s achievements and the friendships he’s forged throughout his career.
Jelly Roll first learned of the invitation during a fall appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience. During the interview, Rogan surprised him with a video message from Craig Morgan, congratulating him on joining the Opry.
In the clip, Morgan, seated in the Grand Ole Opry pews, praised Jelly Roll for his accomplishments and thanked him for making a positive impact on fans’ lives.
“You’re doing amazing work, buddy. I’ll never forget meeting you at the Opry and hearing how my music helped you through tough times. That’s what country music does best,” Morgan said.
Overwhelmed, Jelly Roll tossed his headphones aside as the reality sank in.
“Who would’ve thought back then that I’d be back at the Opry house to hear: ‘Jelly Roll, you’re officially invited to become a member of the Grand Ole Opry. Welcome to the family, brother,’” he recalled.
The “Need A Favor” singer became emotional as one of his lifelong dreams was realized. He left the podcast with an inspiring message for fans:
“Somebody out there is dreaming small. Dream bigger, baby. Dream bigger.”
Jelly Roll made his Grand Ole Opry debut on November 9, 2021, and has consistently returned to perform whenever possible. In addition, he has supported emerging talent through the Opry NextStage program, hosting Opry NextStage Live shows in Texas and mentoring new artists.
