Chris Stapleton Forced to Postpone Tour Start, Cannot Perform at Greenville Concert

Chris Stapleton has delayed the start of his All-American Road Show Tour because essential production equipment was damaged while being transported to the initial venue in Greenville, South Carolina, where the first concert was set for June 4.
An announcement on Stapleton’s official social media pages revealed that the concert will now take place on Wednesday, July 9.
The statement explained, “Key components of our tour production were irreparably damaged during transit to Greenville. Unfortunately, without this equipment, the show cannot proceed.”
No details were given about the cause of the damage.
The team reassured fans that “all tickets already purchased will remain valid for the new date.”
Attendees who cannot make the rescheduled concert should reach out to the original seller for refunds. Ticketmaster customers must request refunds by Tuesday, June 24.
Chris Stapleton’s 2025 All-American Road Show is now set to kick off in Charlottesville, Virginia, on Friday, June 6.
The announcement included a message for Greenville fans: “Thank you for your understanding and sorry for any trouble caused. We can’t wait to see you on July 9.”
Special guests joining select shows on the All-American Road Show include Mike Campbell & The Dirty Knobs, Marcus King, Nikki Lane, Grace Potter, Maggie Rose, Brittney Spencer, Allen Stone, Marty Stuart & His Fabulous Superlatives, and The War & Treaty.
This tour segment will conclude on October 11 in Hollywood, Florida.
In addition to this tour, Stapleton has been touring with George Strait throughout the year, performing their dynamic live shows in stadiums nationwide. They recently appeared at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia on May 10 and Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on May 31.
The stadium tour will wrap up with three final concerts: June 14, 2025, at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo, NY; June 21, 2025, at Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA; and July 19, 2025, at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
Stapleton was recently honored by Billboard for having the top country album of the 21st century (first 25 years) with his groundbreaking 2015 release, Traveller.
Since its release in May 2015, Traveller has spent an impressive 525 weeks on the Top Country Albums chart (as of May 31, 2025). It is one of only two albums ever to surpass 500 weeks on the chart—the other being Willie Nelson’s 1978 album Stardust, which has remained on the list for 551 weeks since the chart’s inception in 1964.
