The podcast host and author officially finalized her divorce from Jelly Roll earlier this month, marking the start of a new chapter in her personal and professional life.
Bunnie Xo is embracing a fresh start and focusing on expanding her career following the end of her marriage to Jelly Roll.
According to a source who spoke with PEOPLE, the 46-year-old podcast host and author has been spending time in Los Angeles exploring new opportunities in television. The insider said she has been meeting with producers, talent representatives, and production companies as she considers launching a reality series, signaling her ambitions to further establish herself in the entertainment industry.
The source added that Bunnie, whose real name is Alisa DeFord, has been staying extremely busy and is fully committed to growing her brand through a variety of new projects. Her representative did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.
Earlier this month, Bunnie officially finalized her divorce from country singer Jelly Roll after nearly a decade of marriage. The split followed his divorce filing on May 18.
Before removing the episode, Bunnie hinted on her Dumb Blonde podcast that several new ventures were in the works. Among the possibilities she mentioned was a reality show documenting life on a shared compound with some of her closest friends, describing the project as one of several exciting developments on the horizon.
Since the divorce, Bunnie has continued to share updates about her personal life with followers. She has spoken openly about undergoing breast augmentation after losing weight and recently celebrated purchasing a new Rolls-Royce.
During a July 10 episode of Dumb Blonde, she also discussed enjoying what she called her “hot girl summer.” While making it clear that she is not interested in dating at the moment, she laughed about sharing a Fourth of July kiss with Calabasas Confidential star Dylan Wolf. Bunnie emphasized that she is currently focused on herself and has no desire to begin a new relationship.
She also revealed plans to enroll in online classes at Arizona State University, saying she intends to pursue a double major in subjects she has not yet disclosed. Bunnie explained that she feels motivated to learn and described returning to college as an important personal goal.
Toward the end of July, she documented a trip to Los Angeles with friends by posting a series of photos on social media. In another post, she shared a TikTok video of herself enthusiastically singing along to Taylor Swift’s “You Belong With Me,” joking in the caption that it was a sign she had entered her “healing era.”
