Beyoncé’s Choreographer Reportedly Had Unreleased Music and Tour Plans Stolen from Car During Atlanta Stop on Cowboy Carter Tour, Police Say

Beyoncé’s tour team suffered a serious security breach when unreleased material tied to her Cowboy Carter tour was reportedly stolen from a parked vehicle in Atlanta, according to police.
On Tuesday, July 8, choreographer Christopher Grant and dancer Diandre Blue called 911 to report a break-in involving their Jeep Wagoneer, which had been parked in the garage at Krog Street Market prior to the pop star’s Atlanta performance.
According to an Atlanta Police Department report obtained by PEOPLE, the vehicle was parked around 8:09 p.m., and when Grant returned just over an hour later, at 9:10 p.m., he found the trunk window shattered and two suitcases missing.
Grant informed officers that the stolen bags included highly sensitive content belonging to Beyoncé. The report states: “Mr. Grant advised he was also carrying some personal sensitive information for the musician Beyoncé,” confirming his role as her choreographer and Blue’s position as one of her dancers.
Among the missing items were hard drives containing watermarked tracks, never-before-released music, plans for the current show, and both previous and future tour setlists.
The stolen property also included designer sunglasses, clothing, laptops, and a pair of Apple AirPods Max headphones.
Using tracking tools, officers attempted to locate the stolen electronics. One officer noted in the report: “I conducted a suspicious stop in the area, due to the information that was relayed to me. There were several cars in the area also that the AirPods were pinging to… A silver [redacted], which had traveled into zone 5, was moving at the same time as the tracking on the AirPods.”
As of Monday, July 14, Atlanta police confirmed that an arrest warrant has been secured in connection with the theft. A representative for the APD said: “At this time, the suspect remains outstanding, and their identity is not yet available for release.” Authorities noted that the investigation is ongoing and subject to updates as more details emerge.
Meanwhile, Beyoncé is continuing her run of Cowboy Carter performances at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, with her final show in the city scheduled for Monday. The tour will officially wrap on July 26 in Las Vegas.
In its statement, the APD reminded residents and visitors to participate in its Clean Car Campaign, emphasizing the importance of removing valuables from vehicles to reduce the risk of theft.
