Billy Ray Cyrus has embarked on a new chapter in life, marrying Firerose on Tuesday, October 10. The couple exchanged vows in a ceremony they describe as “the most perfect ethereal celebration of love.”
Both the bride and groom took to social media to share the wonderful news along with a selection of stunning photos from their special day, which were captured by Lisa Rhea Photography.
In a joint statement, the newlyweds expressed their feelings, saying, “10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony. It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.”
They continued, “For both of us to hear the preacher say, ‘Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus … I now pronounce you husband and wife,’ that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love.”
For their special day, Billy Ray Cyrus donned a black Versace suit and tie, with his signature long locks styled into loose pigtails. The bride, Firerose, looked stunning in a Laura Rudovic gown with intricate lace detailing on the bodice and long sleeves, while she carried a bouquet of red and orange roses, evoking the colors of autumn.
The couple’s journey to the altar was relatively swift. Rumors of their engagement surfaced just a few months ago when Firerose was seen wearing a ring on her left ring finger. Billy Ray Cyrus confirmed their engagement in November.
Cyrus and the Australian singer initially crossed paths on the set of Hannah Montana 12 years ago. They remained in contact after the show and were first spotted together in 2021. However, Cyrus has clarified that their romantic relationship did not begin until after his divorce from Tish Cyrus, to whom he had been married for 28 years.
