On Saturday, May 24, the 63-year-old country music star and the 59-year-old actress made their first official red carpet appearance as a couple. They attended a dinner celebrating the opening of the Orizzonti/Rosso exhibition, hosted by the Fondazione Valentino Garavani e Giancarlo Giammetti at the historic Palazzo Barberini.
Dressed to impress, Hurley turned heads in a vibrant pink gown that hugged her figure, featuring a plunging neckline and flowing, dramatic sleeves. She paired the look with retro silver platform heels—possibly a playful nod to her Austin Powers days—softly waved hair, and eye-catching earrings.
Cyrus brought his signature rocker-meets-Western style to the event, wearing black fitted pants adorned with silver medallions, a leather-trimmed black jacket, and finishing the look with a western hat, sunglasses, and boots.
They were accompanied by Hurley’s 23-year-old son, Damian, who stood out in a bold red suit and dark sunglasses, completing the fashionable family affair.
Elizabeth Hurley gave fans a glimpse into her evening with Billy Ray Cyrus by sharing a photo from their stylish night out in Rome on Instagram Saturday, captioned simply: “Roma 💞💞💞💞.”
Their red carpet debut follows recent buzz around their relationship, with a source telling PEOPLE that Hurley is unfazed by public skepticism.
“Liz doesn’t care that some people don’t understand their relationship,” the insider shared. “She’s focused on the meaningful things they share—like a love of country music. She’s really into his Southern charm, and he’s always calm and content when he’s with her.”
The source also mentioned the strong connection between the two: “They have great chemistry. She truly enjoys his company.”
The couple is reportedly planning to celebrate Hurley’s upcoming 60th birthday together on June 10.
