“The performer launched the first of six Cowboy Carter concerts in London on Thursday, June 5.”

Beyoncé Shows She’s Truly “That Girl”
During the opening night of her six-show Cowboy Carter tour run in London, the 43-year-old superstar handled a wardrobe mishap with grace and confidence. While performing her hit “I’m That Girl,” moments after lifting her foot to stomp in sync with her dancers, her chaps unexpectedly slipped to the floor—an incident captured in a TikTok video shared on June 5.
Without missing a beat, Beyoncé used the musical break to smoothly retrieve her chaps, sliding her hands down to pick them up. She then stood up, flashing a smile and effortlessly incorporating the moment into her choreography, much to the delight of the audience.
A dancer quickly rushed over to secure the chaps back in place as Beyoncé continued her performance flawlessly.

Several TikTok viewers praised Beyoncé’s dancers for their quick reflexes and professionalism following the unexpected wardrobe slip.
“THE DANCERS DESERVE 10s!!! The way they smoothly got back in formation—amazing,” one fan commented. Another added, “The show must go on! The dancers handled it perfectly and fell right back into place! 🔥”
Others joked about the timing of the mishap. “The pants had their own choreography, perfectly timed with the beat,” one wrote, while another said, “Even the pants are on beat, just like Beyoncé!”
A TikTok user remarked, “Honestly, this didn’t even look like a mistake. Love her!”
This wardrobe incident comes shortly after a mishap involving Beyoncé’s daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, during the tour’s Chicago stop on May 15.
While appearing on stage with her younger sister Rumi Carter for the song “Protector,” Blue Ivy’s gold hoop earring got caught in Beyoncé’s hair, as seen in a viral TikTok clip.
During the emotional chorus, Blue Ivy bowed her head close to her mother, who was seated on stage steps. When she lifted her head, her eyes widened upon realizing her earring was tangled in a strand of Beyoncé’s highlighted blonde hair.
She carefully and professionally freed the earring within seconds, even dancing a bit while handling the snag.
Neither Beyoncé nor her sister appeared to notice the brief mishap.
The European leg of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour wraps up in Paris on June 26. Afterward, she’ll return to the U.S. for shows in Houston, Washington, D.C., and Atlanta, concluding the tour in Las Vegas on July 26.
